Autograph Authentication at Conventions
JSA, PSA, Beckett, and CGC Signature Series are the main third-party witnesses at US comic and horror cons. Shows differ on on-site table witnessing, mail-in after the event, and which vendor runs the autograph room—Behind the Table maps authenticator use by event.
Convention-specific authentication—on-site witnessing, CGC Signature Series at cons, mail-in after the show—is underserved in generic “PSA vs JSA” blog posts.
JSA Authentication
On-site witnessing at major cons; mail-in authentication for signed items.
PSA Autograph Authentication
Graded autograph authentication; common in sports and entertainment memorabilia.
Beckett Authentication
Witnessed signings and BAS certification for autographs.
CGC Signature Series
Witnessed signatures on graded comics and related collectibles at select events.
